Roger Mooking is a Trinidadian-born, Canadian-raised talent who creates immersive experiences with food, music, and art. As a chef, restaurateur, television host, author, and award-winning artist, Roger has earned an international reputation as a multi-media force showcasing a globally inspired vision.

Naturally combining his passion for food and beverage, the arts, design, and culture, Roger has amassed accolades spanning the entertainment industry: JUNO Award, Black BBQ Hall of Fame, SOCAN Classics Award, Heritage Award, Gourmand World Cookbook Award, Premier's Award, Vice Chancellor Award.

Twist by Roger Mooking and Community by Roger Mooking are his latest duo of restaurant endeavours located at Toronto Pearson International Airport, transforming the dining experience for guests over the last decade — a relationship recently extended for another decade.

Roger is perhaps best known as the host of the internationally celebrated barbecue show Man Fire Food on Warner/Discovery Networks. He also hosts Breaking Bread with Roger Mooking on Amazon, Greatest of America on Travel Channel, and co-created the internationally broadcast Everyday Exotic. As Grey County's first Creative Director and Culinary Ambassador, he has led the Gather Campaign to showcase the region's rich culinary heritage.
