Marissa Roberto first real job was hostessing at Montana’s BBQ & Bar, where she stayed for years through school, working her way from server to bartender. Twenty years later, Montana’s came back into her life as the first full-year title sponsor of Digital SportsCentre, the TSN show she now hosts. It’s a full-circle story, and a pretty good summary of who she is: someone who works hard, remembers where she came from, and never lost that hostess instinct of making everyone feel welcome.

Today, Marissa is one of the most familiar faces at TSN. As the host of Digital SportsCentre, she covers the world of sports every single day across all TSN channels, from the big games and trades to the moments fans can’t stop talking about. She has a gift for making sports feel fun and accessible, whether you’re a lifelong fan or just tuning in for the highlights, and fans come to her every day for their sports fix. Gaming has always been the other half of her story. Born in Saskatchewan, she got her start in gaming media long before esports was cool, hosting shows like Reviews on the Run and EP Daily, then Heads Up Daily, Squad and Xbox Canada’s community show, and winning the Canadian Game Awards title for Best Esports Host along the way. She’s still a gamer through and through, and her BarDown gaming segments bring that passion right into the TSN world, giving younger fans a way into sports that actually speaks their language.

But ask anyone who knows her and they won’t start with the résumé. They’ll tell you she’s one of the kindest, funniest people in the business. She met the love of her life on a Toronto boat cruise, and the two of them share a serious love of baseball, with his ties to the Toronto Blue Jays making game days a big deal in their house. She’s a lifelong animal lover who loved her late dog so much she has him tattooed on her, she’s a proud Italian granddaughter who lights up around her Nonna, and she’s just as likely to be belting out Taylor Swift as she is rapping every word of a Tupac track. That’s what makes her so special for brands. Marissa does’’t just talk about any brand she lives them,
